What We Do:

  • WE CARE and we want you to enjoy your stay with us. We are a small business, we enjoy what we do and we want our guests to be happy. This is only fun for us if you are happy, too!  Life is too short to operate in any other way. We hope you feel the same.
  • Check in: rooms guaranteed ready by 3pm. Need an earlier check in? Just give us a call and we’ll do our best to accommodate! **We are very happy to check you in early BUT we kindly ask that you not just “stop in to see if the room is ready.” If you find you’re arriving before check in time, please call 920-743-5571 and we will get ‘er done for ya! With such a small staff, it slows us down quite a bit to have to keep running to greet you at the door and check on the status of your room. Calling ahead is best. 
  • Where do I check in? Please come to the main office located under the red awning in our parking lot. You will enter the vestibule through a screen door. Pick up the red phone located in the vestibule and dial 0 (wait for us to answer!) and we’ll get ya checked in!
  • Check out: 11am, however, if you need a later check out just let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate (and, no… we won’t charge you for it)!!
  • 48hr cancellation policy. We simply ask for 48 hrs in advance of check in to cancel without charge. Even then, we will always do our best not to charge unless we absolutely have to. We promise, we are not a “stick it to the customer” kind of business. 
  • ADA: while we are handicap accessible on the first floor, our rooms are not ADA compliant. Please call for more information.
  • Third and extra person fee: room rates are based on 2 person occupancy. Extra person fees equal $10 per person. Please check for max occupancy listed for each room though max of 3 persons per room is allowed. 4 people CAN be accommodated in a Double Deluxe room with one full and one queen bed, but we like to be honest that it’ll be a bit “cozy.”  🙂
  • Rollaway/cots: available upon request at time of reservation and based on availability for an additional $10. Please be advised that rooms are a bit on the smaller side and a cot will take up a bit of room. 
  • Quiet hours after 10pm: Due to the nature of the older architecture noise can transmit to other rooms therefore we do request all guests to be respectful of other guests late at night and early in the morning. That said, infants, young children and late-night partiers just aren’t a fit for our motel. Uncooperative, excessively disruptive guests will be asked to leave without refund regardless of hour. This is a place to have fun and relax while being conscientious of other travelers staying with us. It’s easy to be considerate, it’s easy to be kind. We welcome those who share this sentiment.
  • Children 5 and up only, please.  Kids 5-12 sleep free.  
  • Pets: Well-behaved and freshly bathed pets welcome in all first-floor rooms only (120-128) for just $10 a night with certain restrictions. (All pets must have prior approval by motel management by calling 920-743-5571 **PLEASE READ OUR PET POLICIES BEFORE BOOKING… click here for more info**
  • Registered guests only in the motel, please. All exterior doors are kept locked at all times. Only registered guests are provided with access keys.
  • This is a non-smoking facility. This includes vaping and incense. If you must, please be a considerate smoker; step outside, away from the building, be mindful of others and properly dispose of your cigarette butts. A $250 fine and immediate removal from the motel regardless of hour and without refund for smoking violations.
  • Green initiative: we do our best to reduce our carbon footprint by offering a recycling program, using bulk soap dispensers and eliminating single-use plastics wherever possible.
  • Free parking for all of our registered guests. If you need more than one parking spot per room please check with the front desk. If needed there is additional parking in the lot adjacent to the motel where we can also accommodate boat, trailer, bus and RV parking with advance notice.   • EV chargers. We do not have an EV charger on site though there are two directly across the street from us in the city lot. We also do have outdoor outlets if there’s something you need to plug in. And, no. We won’t charge you for it. 😊
  • Taxes: 5.5% state, 8% room tax
  • Accepted forms of payment: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, house gift certificates.
  • 3rd party booking engines (also known as OTAs – Online Travel Agencies): If you book through an OTA such as Expedia, AirBnB, Booking.com, etc. you will receive your confirmations and receipt from that OTA. Cancellations or changes to your reservation will need to be made with the OTA you booked through. We cannot adjust rates or apply discounts once a reservation is booked through a 3rd party. 
  • PLEASE BE ADVISED: We cannot be held responsible for additional charges or misinformation offered by third party booking engines or search engine sites. Some OTAs charge exorbitant non-refundable booking fees over which we have no control. Believe us, we hate this despicable business practice more than you do, and try as we might, it is beyond our control. In addition, while we do our best to make sure everyone has accurate information, there are times that they simply get it wrong (for example, we do not have pull out couches in the rooms nor do we have a pool, and, no, we do not serve breakfast). This is, too, is out of our control. 
  • Please book direct. It’s the easiest way to ensure you receive the most personal service.

What We Don't Do:

  • We do not require a deposit or charge a cancellation fee for cancellations received within our 48 hr policy (*see our cancellation policy above for more information.) Some hotels/motels charge fees or non-refundable deposits for you to change or cancel your reservation weeks, even months, in advance. We’ve never understood this. We’re in the business of accommodating travelers and understand that plans change and you shouldn’t be punished for that.
  • We do not charge a booking fee! And, frankly, no one ever should!  Buyer beware: if you are being charged a booking fee, you are not on our website and that booking fee, even if you cancel with sufficient amount of time, will be non-refundable and will be gladly kept by the 3rd party booking engine. This is frustratingly out of our control and we hate this practice more than you do as it does not reflect the ethics of our business practices.
  • We do not call your room right at check-out time to push you out and we do not charge for late check outs!  Just let the desk know you’d like a late check-out and we will do whatever we can to accommodate your request! Same goes for early check-ins. No fee, but please do call ahead to arrange.
  • We do not charge for our wireless internet. We think it’s insane that anyone charges for this basic amenity in the 21st century.
  • We do not accommodate late night partying/hang outs in rooms. Yes, we are a rock-n-roll motel but with this being an older building, we must be conscientious of noise issues and other travelers’ comforts and needs. Quiet hours from 10pm-8am. We are very clear about this and, therefore, uncooperative disruptive guests will be asked to leave regardless of hour and without refund. 
  • We do not mislead our guests into thinking we are something we are not. While it was completely renovated in 2009, it still is an older building that comes with its quirks and charms. If you want friendly, clean, comfortable and unique accommodations, we feel confident that you will enjoy staying with us!!! Please read our reviews!  🙂
