Visit the markets on December 7, 14, and 21 from 10 AM – 2 PM.

Step into the enchanting world of a traditional German Christmas market right here in Door County. The Christkindlmarkt gathers a multitude of vendors offering everything from handcrafted goods to traditional foods and festive decorations. Third Avenue Playworks presents “A Gift of The Magi,” a touching holiday chamber musical running from December 11-29. The play opens with a Pay-What-You-Will preview on December 11, and the official opening night follows on December 13. The gallery will be open on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 AM – 5 PM for three weekends: November 29 & 30, December 6 & 7, and December 13 & 14. The gallery is adorned with holiday lights and a festive tree, enhancing the shopping atmosphere as you browse through holiday and gift pieces from various exhibiting artists. Sister Bay pulls out all the stops for New Year’s Eve with activities and celebrations throughout the village. Enjoy a day filled with shopping, ice skating, and a cozy bonfire at the Sports Complex, accompanied by dining specials and an early evening fireworks display at 8 PM. The festivities peak with the FM 106.9 The Lodge Cherry Drop, starting at 10:30 PM at The Garage. Here, the biggest tunes of the year set the stage for the midnight drop of a giant sparkling cherry, ringing in the new year with spectacular flair.
